Minneapolis, Minn., Jan. 29, 2001 -- Minnetonka is now shipping SurCode DVD Professional, the DTS Surround Sound software encoder for DVD Video. Now it is easy and cost-effective to add high-definition Surround Sound when authoring DVD-Video discs.

SurCode has a very simple user interface which is easy to learn and easy to use. SurCode accepts Surround Sound recordings from any source as .WAV or .AIFF soundfiles. It outputs encoded files that can be used with DVD-Video authoring software. SurCode DVD Professional is licensed and certified by DTS, and is suitable for commercial releases.

SurCode runs on Windows 95, 98, 2000, and NT.
