Feb. 09, 2001 -- The AES has announced the scheduling for its 18th International
Conference, to take place March 16-18, 2001, at the Embassy Suites Hotel,
San Francisco Airport.
Titled "Audio for Information Appliances-Challenges, Solutions and Opportunities,"
the conference will focus on methods for improving the quality of audio
in information appliance products, trends and the growth of businesses
and careers in this field.
Audio for Information Appliances-Challenges, Solutions, and Opportunities
will provide attendees with a three-day window on potential audio components
in the avalanche of new wireless, hand-held devices being offered to satisfy
consumer demand for mobile, broadband music and information. Many of the
conference presenters work at companies in nearby Silicon Valley, where
a host of these products have been developed.
Also, The AES announced preliminary information for the 110th Convention
scheduled for May 12-16 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. You may visit the
