Gainesville, Fla., Feb. 26, 2001 -- Z-Systems Audio Engineering annouces the release of the z-link96 and z-link96+ miniature sample rate converters. These products are the long-awaited follow-ups to the company's popular z-link and z-link+ processors.

The z-linklink96 and z-link96+ both support up to 24-bit digital audio at sample rates up to 96 kHz and both allow the output wordwidth to be set to either 16 or 24-bits. The units are capable of dynamic range in excess of 120 dB and THD+N better than -115dB. Both z-link96 and z-link96+ feature internal clock references which allow the units to generate 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz, and 96 kHz output sample rates internally and the z-link 96+ can be synchronized to an external AES11 reference.

Both products are currently available. MSRP on the z-link96+ is $630, with the z-link96 priced at $475.
