SoundToys Debuts Tremolator, Crystallizer
New plugins added to UltraFX suite for Pro Tools

(Apr. 08, 2004) -- SoundToys has released two new plugins for DIgidesign's Pro Tools. These include Tremolator and Crystallizer, both of which are also available as a part of SoundToys' updated UltraFX bundle. They're available now for Mac OS X.

SoundToys bills Crystallizer as a "mind-blowing sound transformer." Inspired by the Eventide H3000's Crystal Echoes preset, Crystallizer provides granular reverse echo slicing and retro pitch processing for creating synth textures, de-tuned echoes or pitch-shifted reverse echoes. Tremolator is a tremolo device with custom-modeled shapes (Fender Vibrolux, MultiVox Premier,  SilverTone, DanElectro and Wurlitzer 200B piano), as well as new shapes and a shape editor for creating custom shapes. It also offers a rhythm pattern editor and support for dynamic tremolo depth.
