Lancashire Eng., August 16, 2000 -- AMS Neve (AES Booth #619) will be showing
advanced music, broadcast and post production audio systems. AMS Neve will
celebrate the receipt of this year's GRAMMY Award with the US release of
new tools for the music recording industry, including the Encore for V automation
system. The booth will also showcase a number of new WorkFlow integration
technologies, setting new standards for efficiency and flexibility in today's
connected world. Encore for V is a powerful analog console automation system. Based on the popular automation system already proven in use on AMS Neve's digital consoles, Encore is a significant step in music console automation. The system may be retrofitted easily to existing V Series consoles. Encore for V offers Flyer Faders users familiarity, yet considerably more power and features. Encore is a key element in AMS Neve's Workflow strategy, enabling projects and operators to move easily between studios, and will enhance any Neve V Series studio. At the AES, AMS Neve will demonstrate a fully networked solution for audio post production in a multi-room facility. Demonstrations will feature the AudioFile SC editors and Libra Post digital consoles integrated via the StarNet network. StarNet provides a solution for storing and transferring audio projects, enabling maximum productivity and minimum studio downtime. At the exhibition, AMS Neve will announce integration for effects server systems, enabling users to search databases of thousands of effects available instantly on-line.
