Lead Vocalist of "Orgy" to appear at Wave Distribution's NAMM Booth

—IN APPRECIATION FOR THEIR SUCCESSFUL DISTRIBUTION ARRANGEMENTS WITH EMPIRICAL LABS AND CLM DYNAMICS.

Ringwood, NJ, December 18, 2000 -- Wave Distribution, of Ringwood, NJ, is proud to announce another Epic NAMM Booth Event. That's right, Wave Distribution, those high-class, good looking, all-knowing - with tons of sex appeal - purveyors of high-tech audio processing, effects, and related studio toys, will have Orgy at their 2001 NAMM display, during show hours!

Gil Griffith, President of Wave Distribution states, "The need to have an Orgy at our NAMM exhibit is to show our appreciation for our highly successful distribution arrangements with Empirical Labs and CLM Dynamics, manufacturers of the EL7 FATSO and DB500s Expounder Equalizer respectively!"

So, don't forget to bring your video camera! Jay Gordon, lead vocalist of the band Orgy, will make an appearance at Wave Distribution's 2001 NAMM exhibit, booth NUMBER 6627, HALL A. Jay used six Empirical Labs DISTRESSOR compressors in the making of Orgy's new album, VAPOR TRANSMISSION. Jay also used the EL7 FATSO and CLM Dynamics DB500s Expounder Equalizer on the band's recent tour.

An exact time and date has not yet been scheduled for Jay Gordon's appearance, so please check in at Wave Distribution's NAMM booth on January 18, 2001, booth #6627, HALL A, or the company's web page, WaveDistribution.com.

Jay points out, "The FATSO is, by far, is one of the most important studio tools I have ever used. I can't believe how important the FATSO really ended up being to the band and myself. We have been using the FATSO live on the V-Drums and it blows anything I could have imagined away by light years. The Super- Thick- Thumper-Device is what I call it."

The EL7 FATSO is a modern digitally controlled analog device that allows users to enhance & soften the sound of mediums such as modular digital multitracks (MDM's), HD recorders, DAT recorders, RAM Recorders, etc. Mixdown engineers will have an option not to use bulky, expensive (and often flaky), analog tape recorders to get the warmth and sweet high-end they've come to rely on for so many decades.

Jay continues, "I am also in awe of that Expounder! The Expounder works perfectly on our live bass rig. One on the amp, and one on the Avalon D.I. I know some are gonna think I am nuts, but it made our entire mix light years better. I have never been more impressed by 2 products. They are both really useful tools and they are used on a daily basis. (Expletive!)... They are lifesavers!"

The CLM DB500s Expounder is not just a conventional equalizer capable of both surgical precision and extreme creativity. It is also an adaptive equalizer which responds dynamically to the program material, to provide a degree of control and enhancement unavailable in any other type of equalizer.

As for the name Orgy, don't jump to the conclusion that there's only one meaning to that word. "Believe it or not, it's not a sexually-based name," said Jay in a recent online interview for ArtistDirect.com. "It's a musical reference, ya' know? We play a collage of sounds, you could say. But it's still hard to tell the lady at the bakery that you're in a band called Orgy and keep a straight face."

(Yep, sure Jay. We'll bring the video camera, just in case, and don't forget to bring enough doughnuts from the bakery).
