Sonic Foundry Enters into OEM Partnership with Canopus Corporation

 

Madison, Wis., December 4, 2000 -- ACID Style 2.0 and SIREN XPress 2.0 Bundled with the Canopus DVRexRT Professional and DVStorm Digital Video Non-Linear Editing Capture Cards.

Sonic Foundry, Inc., a leading developer and marketer of digital media and Internet software tools, services, and systems, today announced that it has entered into a OEM partnership with Canopus Corporation, manufacturer of award-winning, non-linear video editing products for videographers.

Sonic Foundry is providing versions of its ACID Style 2.0 music creation software and its SIREN Jukebox XPress 2.0 personal music manager, to be bundled with the new Canopus DVRexRT Professional and DVStorm NLE solutions. ACID Style will be shipped with a 100 multi-genre loop library and it supports English, French, German, Japanese and Spanish. Users will be able to incorporate their own musical creations made with ACID Style into their video. SIREN gives users a tool to download music and content from the Internet and to digitize music from their own personal music library to add into their videos.
