Announces Logic 4.5 Cross-Platform Surround Sound Solution Available Now |

Rellingen, Germany, July 28, 2000 -- Available for immediate download for
both Macintosh and Windows 98, Logic Audio Platinum Version 4.5 lets you
work in all currently available Surround formats. A dedicated Surround Panner
has been integrated to facilitate the movement of the sound source in space.
For the greatest possible flexibility, different Surround formats can be
chosen per channel. With Logic Audio, surround movements can be automated
and edited. Additionally, the new Audio Input Objects in Gold and Platinum's mixer now make an external hardware mixer unnecessary. Input signals can be treated with effect plug-ins in real-time, even if Logic is stopped. MicroLogic AV 4.5 now supports VST plug-ins and VST 2.0 instruments, allowing users of the entry-level member of the Logic Series to enjoy a wide variety of effects and instruments.
