Tape
Delay plug-in
|
Rellingen,
Germany, June 13th 2000 -- ProTools
users' wishes were turned into reality with the release of Version 4.2.2
for Logic Audio Platinum. The AutoFilter and Tape Delay, available free
of charge for Logic Audio Platinum users as TDM plug-ins, now offer the
following enhancements.
When starting
the AutoFilter, an appropriate LFO sync setting is automatically provided.
The 6-, 12-, 18- or 24 dB AutoFilter offers a complete ADSR and a fully
equipped LFO with speed modulation on the input signal. A completely adjustable
Fatness parameter can be used to counteract the thinning of the audio
throughput that often occurs when using Resonance with other filtering
devices.

The Tape Delay is
now additionally equipped with Random Rate und Random Intensity. Both
parameters can be directly controlled through faders via the Environment.
This "smart" delay automatically knows the tempo of your Logic
Audio song. The Groove parameter lets you apply feel to the delay by allowing
you to adjust between triplets and dotted notes. You can use the Hi Cut
and Low Cut filters to bring out the desired frequency spectrum from repeat
to repeat, plus drive the virtual tape loop into full saturation with
the Feedback control.
Registered users
of Logic Audio Version 4.2 will find the expanded AutoFilter and Tape
Delay ready
to download.
